|| Zion Mountains

I flew into Vegas at Saturday noon time at the first weekend of the June, while at the airport, we ate in California pizza kitchen which basically reheats frozen pizzas, and not the one you knew of from the chain. Bottled waters cost $4. And was somewhat surprised to see gambling machines right outside the gate, then I realized where I've just landed, what a great way to transform travelers from who they are from the hometowns, yes, this is the Sin city then.

Little worry was needed for catching the tour bus from AmericaAsia (http://www.americaasia.com/default.aspx?locale=en-US). Three or four coach buses arrived before Supervacation AmericaAsia from Seagull Travel Agent, full of Asian looking boys and girls from New York and other cities on the eastern boards. I was really glad to see my bus came around 3pm, there were only 24 travelers, and the tour guide is a cool looking guy in the 40-50s. He doesn't seem to be warm or approaching, but there is a certain something in this person that I feel like wanting to more of. Our seatings were great, right behind the driver where we saw things from the big and wide windshields.

The morning coffee was very upsetting my stomach, and the long hours of flight. It was nothing compared to the trans-pacific flights, so I would blame it on the coffee, it overactivates the movement on top of the turbulence in the air. I felt really miserable after we landed in St. George, a small town outside Vegas, maybe about 1.5 hours drive. By the way, I let Baiju know immediately after we landed that I was the least impressive with Vegas landscapes, there were high and good looking buildings, but not to a level that would top my own hometown, it doesn't seem to be a tasteful place. I went into Excaliber casino, there were hot girls performing live in front of the black jack tables, and hunky looking guys and beautiful girls would pose anything for tourists. People could easily get pumped up and kept on gambling all the way, it's just scorching hot.

The second day, I was feeling much better. Ramada Inn had free breakfast, so I had a bowl of oats, some pastries, and fruits. We started off and Zion mountains were just not far away.

These are red mountains (because of minerals in the soils), circling around each other closely, with little mountain plants to cover. It was early morning, so the lighting wasn't really supporting the photographies, who knew that it was only one glimpse of what we were about to experience in the following days ...
