|| Grand Teton in Clouds

After Bryce, it was a long drive to the Salt Lake City. However, the drive was simply pleasant. Having lived in the east coast for many years, I was getting used to the moist weather and the fine trees all around the driveways. It was so very different here in the mountains, the bus was always surrounded by the mountains on the road, there were just miles and miles and never ending miles of mountains. You wondered where the roads are ever gonna go to pass through, but they do pass through, from lower levels of elevations and valleys, and they took us to this amazing city place, the Salt Lake City. Houses, factories and shops were all built along these gigantic mountains, so they look serene and fresh, like the mountains who protect them and support them. This is a very young place, I should've landed here and stayed longer ....

After a good meal at the Teton steakhouse, the Grand Teton is only 5 miles away. It was cloudy, and we couldn't see the main mountain tops. But we did stop, then was I realizing the powers of the ice, those which almost never melts, it has a lot of weight and was part of the forces that created valleys and mountains, sometimes separating them apart. It was a grandeous view, from left to right, for as far as you can see, it was covered by scenses like this, snow mountains, they were near us, or not, there were so large grounds ahead of us, and often times I ask, were there people there, watching us, like the way we watch them, but we don't know them ...
