|| Walking on thin ice

The new year didn't start well.

In January, I was hit with upper respiratory infection. Later it triggered a new heart arrhythmia.

February I moved the apartment home for seven years to a nearby new place, was exhausted from the physicality. Also was told that I need to start over a few heart condition related tests in March.

However, there has been some light in the middle of the darkness. No specifics. But I was thankful to fate and destiny, for years, I was walking on very ice, struck with impacts from legislature changes and internal policy readjustment. It was difficult, stressful and tiresome journey. It was unimaginable at most times and I made it through.

March had an unprecedented snow storm in my seven years in Richmond. For quite some time, I thought these natural weather events meant something for me, but no, they didn't. They have their freedom.

Quite on the contrary to the inclement weather, I stepped onto this movie at the night when we celebrated Clara's promotion. It is very brilliantly done, beautifully acted and originally narrated. It's called Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Two women, both natural and warm in their individuality, were spending summer time in Barcelona. They took pleasures of many of the continental delicacies, places, music, food, and surely art. The characters including the man were down-to-earth. It was thrilled to see a movie that wasn't about lies or twists. The story was just floating and drifting like a cool summer drink, and it was in Europe, paintings, art galleries, linen clothes, tanned looks, Spanish language ... they were like heaven.
