      • Direction Trillium Lake Loop Trail #761, Government Camp, OR 97028
    • Drive 1.5 hours from hotel to the trail head (40 miles on 26 and incline of 6% consistently); beautiful drive when it was quiet
    • The parkway to the 761 trailhead is blocked.  Get past the mirror lake parking lot for another 3 or 4 miles then come to the big lot
    • Walked probably 3 miles back and forth to the scenic spot and the stretch out place for the best picture, but can't walk for another 2 miles on the lake
    • Lots of attractions places but still partly covered in snow; mostly in moderate and hard for trails; lots of motel and cabin positions outside of the mount hood area

  • Set direction to Da Nang Vietnamese (didn't go) / Fisherman's Market 830 W 7th Ave, Eugene, OR 97402 (didn't go) / Mucho Taco (Ian's recommendation), in a mall, fast food (good but expensive and not a lot of food)
  • Owen Rose Garden, beautiful landscape and rose (free park)
  • Skinner Butt Lookout (free park, cityscape), have several trails but require trekking poles to go up and downhill

    • The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art is located in Eugene, Oregon on the western side of the University of Oregon campus next to the Knight Library.  Visitors are encouraged to park in Lot 16A, located at 14th Ave. and Kincaid St., which offers free public parking on weekends and is conveniently located near the museum.
  • Shelton Mcmerphy Alley; $1 discount for AAA and senior (Friday 10-1pm only, didn't go)
  • 5th Street Market Alley / Legend of Szechuan (not very good); there is a commercial parking lot, make sure it's not reserved for the residents
  • Day and Night bubble tea (completely not good)

    • Directions from your host, We’re located on Harris St between 23rd and 24th. 3rd driveway is north of 24th and the house is tucked back from the street. You’ll see an old Volkswagen Bus at the end of the long driveway. Go left to the concrete walkway to the cottage entrance.

  • Somewhat commercialized tourist town
  • Coming back home, long drive, 4 hours + resting and gas refill
  • Passed Seaside (should explore), Astoria (30W), South Bend (blue collar + oyster), 401N (beautiful coastline)
